Today/this week, Tim wore a tie-dye t-shirt.

And Rebecca made them all have some foul cocktail which a dog invented. Olli is a terrible barman, because he actually followed her beer/coke/vodka/blue curacao/lime recipe, rather than just adding some blue food colouring to a caipi.

Later in the week, Tim got naked for Frank.

Also in this episode, Frank adopted the name "little one" for Tim, so I don't know if that's a hint about anything... Anyway, after everyone was dressed, they invited Jo round so that they could reminisce about their father.
 photo Snapshot716-11-201416-19.png
Well, only Tim was reminiscing on purpose. The other two did it by accident, and once they realised what a terrible mistake they'd made they decided to leave and run off to seek comfort with Olli.
 photo Snapshot816-11-201416-22.png
Frank got there first, but Olli was busy cleaning glasses, which hurt Frank and left him vulnerable to be lured off to a surprise fishing trip in Düsseldorf's famous Honolulu district.
 photo Snapshot916-11-201416-29.png
Jo got tricked into it too. Frank thinks it's a terrible idea, and Jo gets to use his "for once I agree with you"-catchphrase for the hundredth time. It's almost as if the two of them actually agree about more than they disagree on. That really they have something in common. I think it's a shared psychicness, because the trip goes horribly wrong when the boat sinks, and they fall in the water, and all their phones get broken, and they have to warm themselves by the fire in case they catch pneumonia. (Because we're apparently seriously pretending it's November.)

Blue lake and rocky shore, I will return once more... Or something.
 photo Snapshot1116-11-201416-31.png
On the plus side, it give Jo a nice opportunity to check out Frank's arse.
 photo Snapshot1316-11-201416-40.png
And it gives us a nice opportunity to check out the brothers' chests. Well, Jo and Tim at least. Frank is doing an am-dram performance of A Streetcar Named Desire next week and wants to get used to the costume.
 photo Snapshot1216-11-201416-34.png
The boys all bond and get to know each other and decide that actually maybe spending time together isn't so bad after all, and maybe they could even do it again sometime. And then Tim gets back to Düsseldorf and finds out that their dad only faked his death for insurance fraud and is actually still very much alive and flirting with Charlie.

BEST NEWS EVER.

(Has anyone been paying attention, how much younger is Tim meant to be than the other two? Obviously there's about a year between Frank and Jo, but after that? Definitely more than four, because that's when their dad left Jo's mum, and presumably less than the 18-20 years implied by the actors real ages... How old is frank meant to be in show? I feel like that must have been mentioned...not least because it was his birthday party a couple of weeks ago... And Tim?)

The ages disturb me too ^^ I realized yesterday that if Frank is about the age of Charlie, maybe minus 10 years, Charlie who is about 60-65, that means he's about 50-55 -tho he doesn't look that old, then Jo would be around 50 too. And Tim, would be what, 30 ? but if the age gap is shorter than 20 years, then he's closer to 35 but he looks 25. Also how old is Olli actually? I think JoW's about 37 (my fav rugby player is 36, seems like I'm into 30-something men... WHY DO THEY GET OLDER? urgh time).
So Jo & Olli's age gap's about 15 years. But Mickey Hardt looks more like 40-45. just googled it, he's 45. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Or then Frank is like 46-47 and is about 15-20 years younger than Charlie.
.............. I give up.

I quite like Mickey's semi-muscly chest! Doesn't make up for SaschaP's tattos and muscles and beard and eyes and everything else, but well, it's easier for the eyes.

I think the VL producers completely stopped checking everything the writers wrote, or heavily influenced them, and the writers just went crazy and made all the male actors get naked. At least once per week. I DON'T MIND :)

I always assumed she was 50-55 in 2008. I never really researched that sort of things before ^^ I admit I had forgotten the actress name earlier so I couldn't google her quickly.

That makes sense now ^_^

34 or 37, it's high time for Olli to put himself first!

That's a time of my life I never want to reach, seeing all those celebrities and players and just old crushes fade away and die.... I blame romcom using actors that were twice their female counterpart' age. And young men being too immature (when they can almost be called boys).

It's almost as if the two of them actually agree about more than they disagree on. That really they have something in common.

Besides Frank's ex-wife? lolololol :D Seriously tho naked Tim is the best, I like that it seems to be his default state of existence. :D Though it just makes me wish all VL scenes were shot in the flatshare just so we see that at least once an ep.

It's really nice of you to sub some of the Helmke stuff. I know it's tangentially Olli related since Olli is shagging a Helmke and also related to the Helmkes (lol that sounds horrible), but still. XD Tim has been soooo cute with the way he wants everyone to be best bros 5eva, I can't deal. I agree with one of the comments left on your videos that it'd've been nice if we got more brotherly bonding before Harro appeared because I was enjoying the dynamic. Their little fail!boat outing reminded me of Gregor and Christian randomly going out into the ~wilderness.

Not unlike chrollianne I actually thought for the longest time that Charlie/Gabi was in her late 50s/early 60s, sob. I remember being genuinely surprised when I learned she wasn't and that Lisbeth/Martina Servatius is actually older than her. I pretty much agree with your speculation on the brothers' ages (Jo/Frank in their forties, Tim early thirties). I wondered if Tim was a bit younger at first but that old drawing kind of put that notion to rest. Crazy to think that Marc Barthel and Flo Wünsche are so close in age when Tim and Emilio look yeeeears apart to me (probably not helped by Marc's thinning/receding hair, sob).

I wouldn't mind more shirtless Frank. :D Get on it, show!

Maybe Tim was worried a wandering mosquito would nibble his "kleine" XD

I'm bummed Frank is prudish, even if his torso may not be as tight as Tim or Jo's I still wanna see to confirm~ :D

Agreed about Harro, he seems like he's just going to mess things up, especially for Tim. :\ I wish he'd be like Vashanti and only be around for a few eps but it seems like that won't be the case.....

I feel bad but yeah, if I didn't know Gabi's actual age I'd still think she was early 60s. Idk why, maybe I just know a lot of well-preserved people that age? XD;;;;;; (And lol yeah I meant early 50s Charlie XD) Marc to me seems more his age outside of VL, I think mainly 'cause of the way he is on social media, whereas on VL I definitely buy him as early 30s.
